Career pathways is often in our curriculum, so even if you do not teach in a magnet school, students could consider a theme tied to a possible career choice within their artwork, or have them explore art careers to illustrate. I also wanted to try something new and fun, 3D illustration! Since I had not done this before I needed to start simple therefore this was mainly a line-based illustration project. If I do it again, I think we may be able to dive a bit deeper, but students were very engaged and had a lot of fun with this project.
I watched a few tutorials online, some actually provided bad advice, so I made my own below.
