FYI: I ignore all vague and non-art specific inquiries. If you'd like to work with me be up front about what you seek and rates you are budgeted for. If not, please don't inquire. I already get too much spam. ;-)

Please DO NOT email me for free advice about your art, that's what tiktok is for and it's fun!

#1. Stay positive on my account. I block meanies, know-it-alls, and grammar Nazis. I do not "crap" in your comments or post negativity, please do not do that to me.
#2. DO NOT judge me or my account by 1 video. Nothing can be said well in 60 seconds!
#3. Just for fun, and to play with the algorithm, I sometimes, purposefully misidentify an image or character, like calling Dumbledore Gandalf instead. Ultimately it's silly fun. Please play along and don't let other's know the "secret."

In my opinion, realism is not better than other styles. Skill does not make an artist; expression, in my opinion, is far more important. I use the terms "Fine Art" and "Decorative Art" in their academic sense. "Fine" does NOT mean better! It's a vocabulary term. Sometimes the line is very blurry... to me, "Fine Art" is expressive, meaning it's more than just the image. What that means is different for different people, and sometimes you need to ask the artists to know. Decorative arts are sometimes functional, but in general, the intent of the work does not go beyond the image that it is. It is not, generally, alluding to or representing something else. Not all art needs to have a deep meaning. Art can be fun, silly, ugly, vulgar, touching, sensitive, deep or shallow, and so much more.

You can see some samples of my own art below. I have reached some fame with my "box series" but I do many things, which is probably why I became an art teacher. If you want to buy my art, go here and send an inquiry. Please don't spam or harass me. I would never do that to you. If you don't like me, my art, or my content, just block me and move on. There is enough hate in the world to have you adding to it. ~PEACE!

My Venmo is @ArtEdGuru  I teach in an urban school in Raleigh NC. If you care to make a donation, add a note "for the kids" I'll use 100% of the donation to buy art supplies for my students.
