Speaker Details:
Eric Gibbons is a doubly certified art teacher (Art Ed & Elementary Education) from New Jersey. He has taught in Japan, Egypt, and in NJ for more than 28 years. During that time he has published dozens of books used in classrooms all over the world, many of which can be found HERE. He is a Staples Invention Contest Finalist with a product marketed nation-wide (The Digi-Dot), an artist with work in the Obama White House, and international collections both public and private. He founded The Firehouse Gallery of Bordentown with exhibitions and events since 1995.
Since 2005, he has presented multiple workshops at the Art Educators of New Jersey's (AENJ) Annual Conventions through the present day on all of the topics from his guest speaker's page. His workshop on Advocating for Art Education was presented nationally as a webinar with the (NAEA) National Art Education Association, and the New York State Art Teachers Association.
As he nears and early retirement, his goal is to share his many successes with schools, teachers, and educational settings around the country. To that end his "fee" for speaking is flexible to meet your budgetary constraints and to build a roster of interstate workshops and reviews.
#1. Cover travel costs from NJ to your event.
#2. Either a flat fee* or the opportunity to make books available to participants at wholesale prices to groups of more than 100.
#3. When speaking to student groups the fee is about $7 to $10 per student depending on the distance needed for travel. Within 50 miles of Bordentown NJ, will be at the lower end of the scale.
*Fee will depend on the duration and size of the event and your budgetary constraints.
